ROOTED IN AJRAKH - VOL 1: SUKOON

A collection born from the ancient craft of ajrakh — geometric prints that once dressed royalty, now reimagined for the woman who carries her roots like a crown.

About Ajrakh

Ajrakh is a centuries-old textile tradition born in the Sindh region and the Rann of Kutch. Its geometric patterns were historically block printed using natural indigo, madder and clay — a resist-dyeing process passed down through generations of craftspeople.

For this collection, the ajrakh print has been screen printed, staying true to the geometric heritage and organic colour story of the original craft while adapting for modern production.

Each motif carries cosmic symbolism — the earth, the sky, and the stars. The geometric grid represents the cosmos. The diamond and medallion symbolize protection and prosperity. Indigo and crimson are the colours of earth's clay and sky's depth.

VOL. I — SUKOON — inner stillness, a peace so deep it becomes her power.

The Woman

She is still. She is certain. She has done the work of knowing herself and it shows — not loudly, but undeniably. Sukoon is for the woman who walks in already at peace. Rooted in where she comes from, effortless in where she's going.

The Print

Geometric ajrakh print — screen printed, true to its organic origins — combined with bandhani print. Print on print. Maximalist but intentional.
